    There is the progress bar updating if I'm not mistaken. Also I suggest using pvpython for any actual serious animation export.

    That would requires to render two times more frames. Not sure this is a good idea.

  4. Add support for any gziped file : identify the type and gunzip on the fly : works well in VisIT why not in ParaView ?

    OpenDx being discontinued, I doubt anyone will work on that. If you can run OpenDx can you export the file to another format ?

    You can save as ensight in Ansys and then read the file in ParaView

    MSC/Dytran file formats do not seem to be open. Support in ParaView seems unlikely.
