Hide the Output Messages window
Hello,
I find it a bit annoying that the "Output Messages" window pops up every time I do something in Paraview. I've dug around in menus and settings and there seems to be no obvious way of disabling it.
I would prefer it to stay closed when I press "close", or at least not have it always on top of the UI. Most of the time, things are working well and I don't need to see the information in this window. I just want to look at my data.
Example of output :
Registered event listener change listener: true
FIXME: handle dialog start.
FIXME: handle dialog end.
FIXME: handle dialog start.
FIXME: handle dialog start.
FIXME: handle dialog end.
QSpiAccessible::accessibleEvent not handled: "6" obj: QMenu(0x3992b50) ""
QSpiAccessible::accessibleEvent not handled: "7" obj: QMenu(0x3992b50) ""
This is already being sent to stdout so it's hardly necessary to have a dedicated always on top pop-up window for it as well (I also wonder a bit why a user would be interested in this stuff in the first place). Granted, not all users run Paraview from the terminal, but still...some options would be nice here.

I agree, the lack of an option to disable the output window except in case of true errors is hilarious. Dragging it to the incredibly overloaded properties tab is a sort of workaround, but it makes the rather unordered and confusingly composed properties tab even more confusing.
REQUEST: add option to disable output window fomr popping up (except a true error occurs).

Two answers.
1) The goal is to get rid of junk like this. If you see warnings (or FIXME etc.), please create a bug.
2) The Output window can now be hidden (somewhat). Drag it to the Properties tab, and move it to be the tab under the Information tab. -

Could not agree more, this is annoying behavior.
