create an "Equirectangular View".
An "Equirectangular View" would be a fantastic addition to the software.
Right now being we are not even able to link camera movements relatively in order to create an "interactive cubemap". All linked cameras have to have the same position. That can be improved.
That would be a great start to an "Equirectangular View"

No, it is not possible to do this for now. I meant that this feature should now be very hard to implement with the camera link.

Is it already possible to do this? (add a transform to the a camera link)
If yes, how can one do that?I have tried some paraview python package scripting but only simple things, so the whole idea of proxies, sources and etc are still unknown to me

Adding a transform to the camera link could be an easy to implement first step in this direction.
Also, this could be added quite easily in the comparative render view.
