OSX Lion will be coming soon, how quickly can we get support?
I am new to all this but I do need ParaView for my dissertation. It is a nice useful program. I was wondering when OSX Lion come out, will ParaView be compatible? If not, how fast can we get a compatible version?

While they fix Paraview 3.10.1, Mac Lion users can use Paraview 3.8.1. This version works fine in Lion.
Thanks,

I'm having troubles too with Lion and Paraview 3.10.1.
I'm waiting patiently.
Thank you for your work.
We're looking forward for (good) news -

OSX Lion stopped shipping with open mpi which we assume is present in our Mac binaries. What we can do in the short term is upload a new 3.10.1 binary that isn't built with MPI. In the longer term we will ship ParaView Mac binaries with MPI libraries/executables just like we do on Linux/Windows.
Additionaly ParaView compiled on Lion seems to work fine. We have several new dashboards compiling ParaView nightly on Lion.
We appreciate your patience.

Paraview (latest version) crashes in Lion. It worked great in Snow Leopard but not in Lion. When you you estimate compatibility with Lion.
Thanks,

I am having problems with Paraview 3.10.O-RC1 and Lion. I am going to update the latest version of Paraview but I believe that maybe there are some issues.
Thanks,
Tony

It should happen very quickly or immediately. We haven't had issues with existing binaries stopping to work with never OS X releases. If it does happen, we will make sure that building from source works while we create new binaries.
